Kim Zolciak confirms she's expecting twins with Kroy Biermann

When news broke in June that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak was pregnant with baby number 5, the third with her NFL husband Kroy Biermann, no one expected twins. That's exactly what she's having, though.

Zolciak shared the happy announcement with E! News, saying, "I'm having twins and I couldn't be more excited. I was completely shocked. I had no idea. It was a natural conception, but twins do run in the family, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised."

The soon-to-be mother of six also posted a photo to Instagram of her growing baby bump at the end of July, while hitting the gym. "It's going to be very busy but it's a dream come true," she says.

No word on the sex of the babies yet, but Zolciak has noted in the past that her husband would like a daughter of his own. Kim has two daughters from previous relationships,  Ariana and Brielle.
